Visuals & new screen printing

The renewal of French Touche's product ranges has resulted in new visuals, but that's just the tip of the iceberg. Illustrations in blue and red on the still-white base of the T-shirt create a sober, harmonious garment.

The 2017 collection will have seen a few different color notes emerge from this blue/red base, adding new balances and visual diversification. Take a look at the French Open Beer models or Place Clichés, and you'll see good examples of this variety of style and color, while still retaining the blue-white-red edge that is so characteristic of the French Touche identity.

In addition, French's style has been refined and is now more assertive: designs in tune with the times, using the latest techniques, while retaining the Vintage and simplistic feel so dear to the team.

Finally, all the visuals in the 2017 collection are screen-printed, a paint-based marking technique that increases the life of the print, and therefore of the T-shirt itself. The visuals for the 2016 collection were made using digital printing, a different technique that enables very small runs to be produced, but doesn't last as long.

New cotton, anti-shrink and extra seams

It's the tip of the iceberg, what you don't necessarily see at first glance. However, a great deal of work has gone into making French Touche a top-of-the-range T-shirt that lasts even longer.

The new anti-shrink cotton keeps the size close to the original after washing, whereas French Touche T-shirts are made from 100% cotton, which has the unfortunate tendency to shrink after the first wash. Also, the new cotton's anti-crease fibers give the T-shirt a far superior hold. The most demanding customers will still need to iron their T-shirts when they come out of the washing machine, but the T-shirt, well stretched out and not ironed, already wears very well.

The collar has also been lined with a clean collar on the front of the garment and a tricolored band on the back, to give it more hold over time while retaining its elasticity, necessary to allow you to put your head (flaxen or mule) through it without difficulty.

Finally, all T-shirts in the 2017 collection feature double stitching (called topstitching) on the collar, sleeves and bottom. This extra step optimizes the T-shirt's overall fit, and all these details make this 2017 edition a top-of-the-range collection that will stand the test of time! Parole de Frenchy
