The birth of Maison FT
The "French Project Touche" began with a simple observation: in the summer of 2015, while strolling through a Breton market, Mr. F. and Mr. T. realized that most products, even those labelled "Le petit Parisien" or "Ty Breizh", actually came from Bangladesh, Taiwan or Turkey. Mr. T., who was working in the Made in France sector at the time, came up with the idea of reviving the French textile industry, by creating a brand that would be "very Frenchy " and that people would be proud to wear! A brand that would be transparent from start to finish about its manufacturing process, and whose quality " would be worthy of the greatest names in French clothing, no less!
The idea was, of course, in jest - Mr F. and Mr T. had neither the pride nor the megalomania to think that French Touche would one day revive an entire sector of French industry - but the joke did run through their heads enough for Mr F. to start looking for contacts in the French textile industry as soon as he got back from vacation, and for Mr T. to resign from his job some time later...
The French Touche epic had begun!
