We've always been straightforward from the start, so we thought we'd drop you a line to explain the situation.
Since December 2019 and the arrival of COVID, raw material prices have continued to rise.
The main reason: sharply reduced global cotton production, fewer people to work with, supply problems and dwindling raw materials. Add to this a high level of demand that is not discontinuing, and you get a logical result:
a general increase in organic cotton prices
So Théo and I decided that as long as we could, we'd keep the price of our clothes down, hoping that the price of raw materials would return to normal. So we made the buffer and took on the whole of the increase.
Since December 2019, the price of organic cotton has risen 6 times. We thought we could counter these increases with our growing volumes enabled by your support... but no!

First of all, a little update on the increase is in order: it's February 4, 2022, when I revisit this article, and organic cotton has risen again [yes, yes], by 54% in just a few months.
Why? To understand this, we need to take a look at the United States (one of the five exporting countries, accounting for 80% of the world's organic cotton production). As a result of the many confinements and the market recovery, demand for organic cotton has literally exploded! Unfortunately, the lack of manpower and producers is driving up prices.
