As far as the ranking is concerned, it is of course a subjective one, which is solely my responsibility. Anyway, the prelude is over, and the selection begins.
1 - Onno Jardins Intérieurs
"Acquiring an Onno terrarium means embellishing your home with a sustainable, environmentally-friendly piece of nature.
Onno jardins intérieurs is a terrarium brand from Lyon. It was born of a desire to reconnect with nature by simply integrating it into our everyday urban lives. The concept is ingenious: miniature landscapes to green your house or apartment, with the least possible effort: just 2 to 3 waterings a year.
The principle is simple: natural light - without direct sunlight - enables plants to photosynthesize, providing them with nourishment. And the CO2 released by the plants at night produces water vapour, which condenses into water droplets on the walls of the glass, falling back into the earth and being reabsorbed by the roots: the cycle is complete, guaranteeing the terrarium's autonomy.
The little extra Onno jardins intérieurs' plant creations are handcrafted before your very eyes in their workshop-boutique at 7 rue du plâtre - 69001 Lyon using a carefully selected palette of appropriate plants.
Eco-responsible and ethical Most of our terrariums are designed in recycled glass containers with untreated natural cork stoppers, and made in France.
